| The Steve Gadd Band led by the iconic drummer celebrated his 70th birthday in his hometown of Rochester, NY during the 2015 Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival. The concert held at Eastman Theater, Gadd's alma mater, sold out in a matter of days as the city of Rochester paid tribute to their prodigal son. “Way Back Home: Live From Rochester, NY” is a DVD+CD release that captures this very special concert, as well as exclusive interviews with Gadd and of family and friends including musical luminaries such as Chuck Mangione and Tony Levin. | For Gadditude, his tenth outing as a leader and second for BFM Jazz, world class drummer Steve Gadd got a little help from his distinguished friends – guitarist Michael Landau, keyboardist Larry Goldings, trumpeter Walt Fowler and bassist Jimmy Johnson. Together they had already established a high degree of bandstand chemistry as the touring band for superstar singer-songwriter James Taylor. That goes a long way in explaining the sense of comfort and ease from track to track on this relaxed session recorded in just one week at Landau’s home studio. “It was like a big family affair,” says Gadd. “It’s fun to get together with people that you care about, that you trust musically and just share the energy and try to make the music the best that it can be.” Like no other drummer on the scene over the last four decades, Gadd has an uncanny ability to get ‘inside’ a tune. A Book of Music - The sheet music of the album Da Capo.
Physical CD is included inside music book
Da Capo was recorded in February of 2021 by Violinist Ryan Delahoussaye and Pianist Charlie Magnone at Orb Recording Studios in Austin Texas.
The sheet music was transcribed for piano and violin by Charlie. The result of this ultimately led to the recording of the record. So after over a year of rehearsing and continuous revisions of the sheet music - A Book of Music and the album Da Capo is finally here.
We hope you enjoy the record and we really hope you enjoy performing the music as well.

As you may or may not know, philanthropy has been a big part of my life for a long time. I've found that artists like myself are uniquely positioned to raise awareness and make a difference in our own communities and beyond. As such, about a year ago, I decided to make philanthropy a more permanent part of my life by establishing the SOS Foundation. The goal here is to use music, both recorded and live, to raise money for causes I'm passionate about. With the help of some amazing people, I'm happy to announce the upcoming release of the first SOS Foundation record. This is a follow up of a record we put out years ago called SOS:Save Our Soul, which was a covers record. This new record will be similar except that we dug a little deeper into history and pulled together a fantastic playlist of cover songs ranging from Wilson Pickett, Solomon Burke, Aretha Franklin and many more. Most importantly, 50% of all profits will go to our charitable partner, City Of Refuge. City Of Refuge is an Atlanta, GA based organization that does some of the most comprehensive work, dealing with homelessness and poverty, in the country! My first encounter with COR was 2 years ago when I performed for one of their fundraisers in Atlanta. I was able to meet with the folks that work there and the folks that are served by the work that COR does. I was so impressed with what I saw that day that I began to research more about the group and, needless to say, became convinced that I wanted to get involved in any way I could. Through vocational training, youth education, and lifetime job placement assistance, COR is more successful at getting people permanently out of poverty than any other program I've ever seen. You can see for yourself the amazing work they're doing at City of Refuge .

At the center of Leslie Stevens’ music is that notoriously heart-catching voice. Weekly to anoint her as Best Country Singer in 2018. But Sinner represents something of a daring step forward for the singer-guitarist. Greatest Hits Live! Featuring the "You're An Ocean" and "The Way." Formed in 1994 in Austin, Texas, Fastball combined a fondness for melodic, Beatles-inspired pop with the alternative aesthetic of late-'90s mainstream rock. Guitarist/vocalist Miles Zuniga, bassist/vocalist Tony Scalzo, and drummer Joey Shuffield — all veterans of Austin's underground rock scene — originally banded together under the name Magneto U.S.A. After signing a major label deal, the musicians changed their name to Fastball and released their debut album, Make Your Mama Proud, in 1996. The album demonstrated the band's synthesis of modern flavor and bygone pop hooks, a combination that would later launch Fastball into the mainstream. The follow-up effort, All the Pain Money Can Buy, appeared in early 1998, featuring a considerably tighter band and more pop flourishes. Although the bandmates were still working side jobs at the time of its release, lead-off single "The Way" proved to be a meteoric hit, topping the American rock charts for seven weeks while enjoying crossover success as a pop single. "Fire Escape" and the piano-fueled "Out of My Head" did similarly well, and All the Pain Money Can Buy went platinum within six months of its release, earning two Grammy nominations along the way. Fastball will be on tour for the remainder of 2023 and into 2024.
