Influenced by artists like Sam Cooke, Chris Stapleton, Leon Bridges, and Charley Crockett, Willingham writes music that feels classic and timeless. These songs are meant to reach listeners of all ages and introduce new audiences to the sounds he grew up loving. For Willingham, music has always been more than a career pursuit; it’s been a source of healing, purpose, and connection since childhood, and now, a way to show his own kids that a life in the arts is possible.
“Halfway Gone” marks Willingham’s first full project and introduces a songwriter focused on substance over spectacle - vintage in sound, honest in delivery.
