Inspired by the lyric “half-melted Rubik’s Cube inside a chicken coop” from Wildfire, each piece begins as a vintage Rubik’s Cube and is individually transformed by hand by Jonathon Penn. No two are exactly alike.
Part sculpture, part album artifact, part unsolved puzzle, the Half-Melted Rubik’s Cube brings one of the album’s most enduring images into the physical world.
Each cube is signed and handmade, with unique variations in shape, texture, and finish.
